Year 2008!

Firstly, happy new year 2008! It's a new year, but I don't know why I don't really feel excited about it.
Well, i slacked during new year eve. All i did in the afternoon was help to change my cousin's shirt. In the evening, I gave my bike a "shower". Its been a long time since I've ride the bike, ever since I moved back from AMK in January, which is almost close to a year! Nevertheless, i took the effort to wheel the bike out to the Esso station out at Upper Bukit Timah, pump the tyres, ride back, gave it a really really good wash, cleaning and scrubing, polishing and using sandpaper to sand off the rust and cover it with a coat of WD-40 or rather oil. It looks like a super brand new bike now. The white and red of the bike is shining brightly. I feel so accomplished, on the day of new year eve.
People often do talk about the year they went through, so I will do mine. It marks an ending for 2007 a few hours back. 2007, was a wonderful year I had. I kind of think about the trgs, the marist trgs. 2007 is the last year i would be having this kind of intensive trg etc. 2008 would be different, with a different sch and a different coach. I had a really interesting year. Going diving at P. Tioman, and also into the fish hobby. Many things happened, we lost our B div' Zonal championship this year breaking our holding record of 8 years of champ, clinching 2nd. But we got our 2nd consecutive National 1st. So, u see, things are so interesting and different. O levels this year too. Thinking of the past where all of us feel the pressure and feel so gek about it. Lessons were quite fun too, especially chem lessons(; Catching up with classmates etc was real fun. Just a pity I couldn't make it for my p6 class gathering because of work.
It had been a really great experience working at Ritz Carlton. Having fun and sorts of things. It's the most different holiday I've ever had this few years! For the past few years, it was just going training, rotting at home and such. It would be a place worth missing. But to miss the place, its because of the people. But to meet these wonderful people, its because of the place that bonds us together. It links huh? 2-way traffic.
2008, I wonder what kind of life I would face, especially with the change of environment... I can't bear to leave behind 2007. Well, but it is not something within my control. All I can do is hope for a better year ahead!
I guess my new year resolution would be to attain good results in everything I do, live happier, be healthier and .......(secret)
Though it was just a mere short period of time, it was the best thing I could ever expect in 2007.If we could progress in 2008, it would be the best gift I will ever have.
